Her birth date was 1st March, 1981 in Moscow to the family of the director of the fur company Gregory T. and a Russian economist Tatyana Semenovich. In her early years, she became down ill, and after spending six months in the hospital after being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. He became famous for his skating prowess with Denis Samokhin, a compatriot. Both teams participated in the Junior World Championships, where they finished eighth and seventh each in 1993. Following a brief partnership with Maxim Kachanov, they placed 5th at the Goodwill Games of 1994. Then in 1995 she teamed up again with Vladimir Fedorov. The partnership was successful. They both won the Finlandia Trophy, and they also participated in Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The team was able to achieve great results, but it was their 15th-place finish at the World Championships in 1998 that was the culmination of their relationship.
